Marilyn Liu joined Brightlight Pictures as Corporate Controller in August 2005 and within a year was promoted to Vice President, Finance. For 10 years, she served as Financial Controller for IATSE Local 891 and received her Certified General Accountant certificate in 1996. She then became Director of Finance and Administration for The Children's Foundation and still serves as an active volunteer for the organization. In 2004, she returned to the film industry as a Corporate Controller at Coast Mountain Films on productions such as The L Word and Reefer Madness. Her Brightlight credits include White Noise 2, In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, Saved, American Venus, About A Girl, They Wait, The Guard and Man on the Run.
