Brightlight Pictures Inc. is a film and television production company based out of Vancouver, British Columbia.
What WE DO
Brightlight Pictures develops, packages, and produces independent feature films and television projects. Since launching in 2001, Brightlight has produced more than 250 film and television productions from WHITE NOISE and 50 DEAD MEN WALKING to COLOSSAL and SUMMER OF '84.
Our Projects
Brightlight Pictures is currently working on Alert Season 2 for Fox and Sony Pictures Television, and the critically-acclaimed drama series The Good Doctor Season 7 for ABC and Sony Pictures Television, which was recently named the most watched television series in the world at the Monte Carlo TV Festival in 2018.
BRIGHTLIGHT PICTURES IS FOUNDED
In 2001 Brightlight Pictures is launched at the Toronto International Film Festival with the film Last Wedding.

In 2005, Brightlight Pictures produced WHITE NOISE, starring Michael Keaton, which has grossed over $100 million at the box office.
DIRECTORIAL DEBUT FOR JAMES GUNN
In 2006, Brightlight pictures produced James Gunns directorial debut SLITHER to critical acclaim. The movie was nominated for Best Horror at the Saturn awards.

In 2007, Brightlight Pictures produced 88 MINUTES, directed by Jon Avnet starring Al Pacino, Alicia Witt and Ben McKenzie.

In 2012, Brightlight pictures produced the indie comedy 50/50, which was nominated for two Golden Globes; Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Best Musical or Comedy. The movie also received other awards and nominations from the Independent Spirit Awards, The Critics Choice Awards and the WGA awards.
